On the most basic human level, what we’re always trying to share with others is our feelings. And for me, I’ve always seen my feelings in color which is why painting has always been such an integral part of my life. That feeling of release when I move the paint across a canvas is a freedom like no other, like letting out a visceral scream, so therapeutic and raw. Using that emotion fills my work with an energy that speaks to people and the experiences they’ve been through and expresses what not all of us have the ability to express through words. It gives me permission, in my paintings, to be all that I am and all that I want to be, without judgement.

  • Website: brandonmcneill.art

Brandon mcNeill is a multimedia visual artist from Downingtown, Pennsylvania. His paintings express striking scenes that dive through a tesseract of the Insulated expressions of another. From intangible silhouettes, to elaborate ecosystems of stories to be seen. This work uses geometric form; or the lack thereof to play upon the formalities of the landscapes that surround the human experience.

  • Mike an art therapy and behavioral health specialist, infuses his art with the principles and techniques he has learned. His works are a moving meditation, visualizing his thoughts in a fluid, colorful language. These small scale works make a large scale impact on the viewer.

    Youtube: The Most Humble Show

Ben is a disabled artist with a handi-capable attitude, a fervent hope in the future and a photographic memory of the past. Ben transforms storied pieces of wood into unique characters and narratives to inspire the viewer.

Lucid Poetry Night

Lucid Poetry Night

Lucid Poetry Monthly is a poetry reading located at One For All in West Philadelphia. It is a reading where poets and writers alike can share their work in a safe and supportive space. Hosted by the tenacious Noah David Roberts, published poet and practicing artist, the reading will take place on every second Saturday of the month at 7:00PM.

While there will be occasional poetry features, the reading will be set up as such: each reader will sign up to the list, and perform once. After this, there will be a fifteen minute break, and we will go through the list of performers again! This allows writers to dive deeper into their work and build a stronger connection with each other. Bring enough material to read twice! We look forward to seeing you there.

While drop ins are welcome, we like to keep track of attendance. Please register below (don’t worry - it’s free!).

Family Fridate

Join One For All for our bi-weekly family Friday events filled with art, music, and joy. Well, One For All and Clarkville understand the struggle and are here to offer your family an after dinner event that takes care of all your needs. At 6pm families arriving at One For All will be divided into two groups: Grown-Ups and Children. The children will all be taken into the back studio space where they will all engage in fun games, art activities and dancing. All the grown ups will remain in the gallery for a relaxing night of wine and painting. Clarkville, a delicious neighboring restaurant, is generously supplying red and white wines for the evening. A teaching artist will be working with all the adults in a step by step painting where they can relax and enjoy time together without having to worry about what the kids are up to. At the end of the night, grown ups and children will reunite and share their artworks and experiences together!

Already a painting pro, but want to come and meet some other awesome women? Not a problem, you can work independently and do your own thing with your painting if you would like! In addition to enjoying some games and painting, Clarkville ( a delicious local, neighborhood restaurant) will graciously be supplying each Ladies Night with red and white wines. Sober? Not 21 yet? Don’t worry - we will have some yummy alcohol free beverages as well to choose from!

Habitat Creations

Join us in this after school class as we learn all about different animal habitats all around the world. After we learn about all the different types of animal habitats, each artist will be given a random stuffed animal and given the task of creating their animals own habitat. We will ask questions like “Where is my animal from?” “Where would my animal live?” “What colors would my animals habitat be?”. Each artist will get a large sheet of paper and we will create our habitats using mixed media materials (paint, paper, markers, and anything else that we may wish to use). At 5:15 we will each take a turn presenting our animal and its habitat to the class. The special bonus is that each artist gets to leave with their animal habitat AND their new animal friend.
